The YXC-100BF stainless steel electric contact pressure gauge is developed based on the standard magnetically assisted electric contact pressure gauge, tailored to meet various operational requirements. It includes multiple product types with features such as vibration resistance, corrosion resistance, ammonia compatibility, combined corrosion and vibration resistance, and diaphragm isolators.

Accuracy Class: 1.6.
Measuring Range: 0-0.1 to 0-60 MPa, -0.1-0, -0.1-2.4 MPa.

Magnetically assisted electric contact pressure gauges are widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, power, mechanical, and other industrial sectors or with electromechanical equipment to measure the pressure of various fluid media without explosion hazards.

Typically, when used in conjunction with corresponding electrical devices (such as relays and frequency converters), the gauge can achieve automatic control and signaling (alarm) for the measured (controlled) pressure system.

Structural Principle

The electric contact pressure gauge consists of a measurement system, an indication system, a magnetically assisted electric contact device, a housing, an adjustment device, and a terminal box (plug socket).

The working principle of the electric contact pressure gauge is based on the pressure of the measured medium acting on the spring tube in the measurement system, causing the end of the spring tube to undergo corresponding elastic deformation—displacement. This displacement is transmitted and amplified via a link rod through a gear transmission mechanism. The measured value is indicated on the dial by the pointer (along with the contact) fixed on the gear. Simultaneously, when the pointer contact comes into contact (break or make) with the contact on the set pointer (upper or lower limit), the circuit in the control system is opened or closed, achieving automatic control and alarm signaling.

Electrical Principle

Taking the control of a compressor motor as an example: The air receiver pressure automatically starts when it reaches the lower limit and automatically stops when it reaches the upper limit.

The control process is as follows: When the pressure reaches (or is below) the lower limit at startup, the moving contact (common power terminal) of the electric contact pressure gauge connects with the lower limit contact, activating relay J1 and self-locking. Its normally open contact closes to drive J3, and the motor powers on and runs. When the pressure reaches the upper limit, the moving contact connects with the upper limit contact, activating relay J2. Its normally closed contact opens, cutting off power to J1, and its normally open contact opens, releasing J3 and stopping the motor. This cycle repeats to achieve automatic control.
